(and that's really the only difference between us.)
If you were to ask Beyonce who rules the world, she would say "Girls". I'm not going to agree or disagree with her for fear of... well just out of fear. But, I will say definitively that I would never wear white jeans while riding a black horse in the desert. That's a recipe for disaster. Here's what I think really rules the world... and it's in the title of this post: Cupholders.A few years back, my wife and I bought a Ford Expedition. We didn't choose the Expedition because of the gas mileage or the sex appeal. Nor did we get it because of the masterful design of the engine or the horsepower under the hood. We got it because the steering wheel felt nice in our hands and there were ample cupholders... lots of cupholders. That's why we ended up choosing the Expedition over the Suburban or other comparable monster soccer family trucks. My last company was a Learning Management System for Associations. It was complex and had some amazing technology in the code. It was incredibly reliable and had tons of features. The security was amazing and the quality was a 10. BUT, I had a big prospect about to make a decision against us based on social media buttons. We didn't have them. It took our lead developer, and now my partner at PropFuel, 15 minutes to add them in. It was simple and insignificant to the performance of the platform. It was a cupholder. We won the $150k contract business because of that cupholder. Now with PropFuel, we spend our energy talking about how we can help grow your business by asking your employees and customers targeted questions to uncover hidden opportunities. But, it's funny, when I talk to our customers they always tell me how much their team like the props! The props is the cupholder.Do you have a cupholder? I'd be really curious. Reply, and tell me what your cupholder is.Like the idea of creating a culture of recognition in your company? Check out our cupholder. Set up a time to talk: www.propfuel.com
