I genuinely love what I do, but that wasn't always the case.
Twenty years ago I was fired from my job for "lacking a sense of urgency." Prior to that as an intern at a gigantic software company, I was encouraged to "walk faster and smile less, because perception is reality." Sage advice.
Given the option to work for another consultancy or try to make some money on my own, I chose the latter, and over the course of a 14 year overnight success, I built a company called Peach New Media under the mantra, "Walk Slow, Smile More."
Today, my partner, Cameron and I are building another software company called PropFuel, and not only do I love the product, but I also love our clients, and I really love working with our team. There are 4 of us here. Bri runs marketing. Ryan sells. Cam makes the software work. And I get to play with our clients. But, Ryan is selling a lot and we're growing quite fast now. I need some help.
We expect to hire a few people this year and 5 or so more next year and I want your help. I'm focused on creating a team of good people from diverse backgrounds.
Specifically, I'm looking for a Client Success Rep now. But, can you recommend anyone you think might be a good fit for PropFuel now or down the road? If so, shoot me an email: support@propfuel.com.
And finally after 4 years, we crafted our core values... (I tried to spell FUEL out of them... but as you can see I had to get creative)
1. For and with our community - we serve alongside our clients
2. Usually, simple is better (HA! you try to start that with a U!!!)
3. Embrace human - eliminate the barriers to human connection
4. Love the process - walk slow, smile more
