Introducing Website Engagement: A New Way to Personalize Member Experiences

And that is why we are excited to share a brand new product, and a brand new opportunity for you to serve your members.

Introducing PropFuel’s Website Engagement Product

We are taking the PropFuel methodology to your website. This new channel extends the PropFuel campaigns you know and love beyond email, enabling you to engage members and non-members alike while they are on your site.

With Website Engagement, you can:

Target campaigns based on real-time conditions: Choose whether to target someone based on the page they visit, the actions they take on your site, or their profile information to make each interaction highly relevant.  

Engage members directly on your website: Use popups, banners, or in-line content to ask questions and gather insights seamlessly within the browsing experience.

Provide real-time personalization: When someone responds to a question, their answer can immediately shape the content they see. This data also enriches their profile in PropFuel and any connected systems, like your AMS, through our existing integrations.

PropFuel’s Website Engagement is deeply integrated into the existing PropFuel suite of tools. Campaigns can work seamlessly across Email, SMS and your website, and you have access to the same integrations and workflow capabilities that power your existing campaigns.

How it Works

Getting started with Website Engagement is simple. All you need to do is install the PropFuel plugin on your website using the provided embeddable code, either directly, or through a tool like Google Tag Manager. Once installed, you can build campaigns in PropFuel that will control what engagements are active, where they show, how they look, and to whom it is displayed on your website.

Our Client Success team will walk you through our structured onboarding process, including technical support, to make sure you are fully trained and up and running in no time.

Personalize the Member Journey

Website Engagement builds on the proven PropFuel approach of starting with a question, allowing you to deliver instant personalization based on their response, as well as the ability to build out comprehensive member profiles over time to make all of your engagement efforts more relevant.

Here are a few simple examples of how you can create targeted, personalized experiences on your website:

• When non-logged in users are browsing your site, pop up a question asking if they are a member. If they are, you can direct them to log-in so you can drive further personalization. If they are not, you can take them through a member acquisition flow.

• When registration for your annual conference is open, pop up a question on your home page asking if people are interested in attending. If someone is interested, take them through the registration process. If they are not interested, ask them why and save that information to their member profile.

• When a first-time visitor lands on your site, pop up a question to ask “What brings you here today?” Based on their answer, trigger personalized follow-ups, guiding them to the resources or programs they need.

This approach ensures that every interaction—whether over email or on your website—feels personal, relevant, and helpful.
